Good Manners

As you can see, Brett and I are teaching Caleb and Caroline good manners at the dinner table.

Pancakes and Pajamas

Yesterday we went to Aunt Molly's house for pancakes and the kids all wore their cute Christmas pajamas. Caleb and Caroline had so much fun playing with their friends and I had fun visiting with my friends! The pancakes were delicious---thanks Molly and Paige for having us over!

We attemtped to take a picture with all the kids on the couch but in this picture some had already escaped! Caroline is on the far left trying to crawl off of the couch. Caleb is pretty happy sitting next to the pretty girls, Ellie and Chloe!

Christmas Party at Church

Sunday night we went to a fun Christmas party at our church. They had bounce houses, a petting zoo, and Santa was even there! Caleb and Caroline had a great time. Caleb especially loved the petting zoo. He kept running around trying to pick up the chickens and making the animal sounds! He wasn't scared at all--he would walk up to the horse and the cow and let them lick his hands. Caroline, on the other hand, stuck close to me and just enjoyed watching her crazy brother!

Third time is NOT a charm!

On Sunday Caleb and Caroline had a chance to see Santa for a 3rd time this year and you can see below how well it went. Caroline is having a hard time warming up to Santa and Caleb is still a little nervous about a man in a big red suit! Poor things--Brett and I keep trying for a decent picture but I think we're just scarring our kids for life!

Our New Toys

On Saturday Caleb and Caroline found some new toys....the diaper boxes! They loved being pulled around the house in them and they also enjoyed watching their Christmas video while sitting in them. It's so funny how they can have a house full of toys but they are entertained by empty diaper boxes! Also, notice my cute husband's sweettart pants--I got him those for Christmas a few years ago! :)

Sweet Friends

Today we went to play at Bennett and Isabella's house with Chloe. Caleb and Caroline had so much fun playing with their sweet friends! I think they have been so bored stuck inside because of the cold weather so they were happy to be with friends and new toys. Melissa fixed us a yummy lunch and even sent home Christmas treats with us!

Monday at the Mall and LOTS of Bon Bons

On Monday Caleb, Caroline, and I met Nana and PawPaw at the mall for some shopping and lunch. We had fun looking at all of the pretty Christmas decorations. It has kind of become a Christmas tradition to meet there. Maybe one year we'll get PawPaw to try ice skating!
After we were tired of shopping, we headed home so Nana and I could make bon bons. We made about 400! Thanks Nana for all of your help!

Santa Again?!?

At brunch we tried to get Caleb and Caroline to take another picture with Santa. As you can see below...it didn't work out so good. Caroline arched her back as soon as I sat her in his lap! Oh well...maybe next year? After that we decided to just try for a decent family picture but Caroline still didn't want to smile for us!

Brunch with Santa

On Sunday we went to brunch with Santa with Nana, PawPaw, Jonathan, Amy, Emma, and Maddie. The food was delicious and the kids did good so we had a great time! Caleb and Caroline loved the waffles with whipping cream! Not exaclty healthy but, it kept them entertained!

This past weekend Caleb and Caroline spent some time at Nana and PawPaw's house. They had the best time! Caroline had fun playing with all of the dishes and Caleb loved putting on Nana's shoes and trying to walk around the house!

Play Time with MOPS

Yesterday we met our MOPS table at the park to play. It was a beautiful day and Caleb and Caroline had so much fun playing with their little friends. Caleb is such a big boy--he would climb up the playset and go down the slide all by himself! Caroline still needs a little help but she had fun. Fun Saturday!

On Saturday Brett's work had a Christmas party for kids at the Aquarium in downtown. Caleb and Caroline loved looking at all of the fish--especially the sharks! After a fun lunch, Santa made an appearance! See the pics below--Caleb and Caroline were soooo happy waiting in line for Santa. Then, see the picture where they are in his lap--not so happy!

On Saturday evening Caleb and Caroline went to their friend, Ellie's 4th birthday party. It was at a gym so they had lots of fun running around, jumping on all of the mats, and hanging on the bars. And, of course, they loved the cake and lemonade!

Lunch with Chloe and Courtney

Today we had lunch at Chloe and Courtney's house. Caleb and Caroline had such a fun time playing with their sweet friend. The weather was nice so we went outside and they all had a blast! Caleb threw a tantrum when we had to leave b/c he wanted to keep playing with the fun toys!

Happy Thanksgiving!

Caleb and Caroline were both sick the week of Thanksgiving so we had to cancel our trip to see Brett's mom and family. We were so sad and missed seeing everyone. Instead of yummy turkey and dressing we went out for lunch and then made mexican food that night! Here are some pictures from our weekend. We spent a lot of time in our pajamas and trying to entertain the kids. In the bottom picture Caleb and Caroline are pretending to go to sleep. They love to lay on the floor and tell each other night night!

Pajama Party

Today at MOPS we had a pajama party so the kids and moms got to wear their pj's. Caleb and Caroline had fun playing with their friends and were so happy when we got home. We all enjoyed spending the entire day in our pajamas!
