Santa Train

Last weekend we decided at the last minute to go to Colorado Springs and ride the Santa train. I'm so glad we did because we had a blast! The train goes up about 1/2 way to Pikes Peak and on the train with you is Santa, Mrs. Clause, and some of his helpers. Once it stops you have a while to talk to Santa, have some hot chocolate and cookies, and look around a little before heading back down. The kids loved seeing Santa and telling him what they want for Christmas (which of course keeps changing!).

Our Fun Visitor

We were so happy to have Maddie's gingerbread man come spend a few days with us in Colorado! We had a fun time going to see the Nutcracker and playing in the snow. And, he even helped us with decorating our Christmas tree and doing our Jesse tree each night. We had to mail him back to Maddie's teacher but we hope he had a fun time while he was here!

Thanksgiving

We had a wonderful Thanksgiving in Texas. It was so fun to be able to spend time with family, go shopping, play golf (the guys), watch football, see some friends and eat yummy food! The weather was great and the kids loved sliding down the hills in Nana and Pawpaw's neighborhood. It was a great week and we weren't too sad to go home because we get to go back in 3 weeks!
