Caleb and Caroline's 3rd Birthday Party

Saturday afternoon we had Caleb and Caroline's 3rd birthday at the Little Gym. They had so much fun running, dancing, playing with the parachute, throwing balls, and chasing bubbles! And, they were so excited to see all of their little friends and family!

After the party we had our family over to our house and Caleb and Caroline opened up all of their gifts. They got so many fun toys--we have such generous friends and family!

Paige's 2nd Birthday!

Caleb and Caroline's cousin Paige turned 2 this week and on Saturday morning she had a birthday tea party. The kids had a great time playing in their beautiful backyard and enjoying some delicious sandwiches and cupcakes. Happy 2nd Birthday Paige!

 
 
 
 

Last Day of School

Once again, it has been over a month since I've blogged! I'm not going to even attempt to go back and blog the past month but instead, I'll just start with this week--a busy one!

This past Wednesday was Caleb and Caroline's last day of school. It's so hard to believe that it's already summer. We have been so blessed to have such wonderful teachers this year and we will miss them this summer! On the last day of school they got to play in a bounce house and they also got to dress up! Caroline dressed up as a princess/ballerina and Caleb went as Lightning McQueen! They were so funny and loved their little outfits! Here are a few pictures from before school that morning.

 
 
 

Easter Lunch

After church we went home to get ready for lunch. We had all of Brett's family over for lunch and an Easter egg hunt. The weather wasn't great so we decided to hide the eggs inside which worked perfect! Caleb kept looking through all of his eggs but didn't really like any of the candy so he asked for fruit snacks! Caroline, however, LOVED the candy! She kept sneaking it all day so there is no telling how much sugar she ate yesterday! She's loves sweets kind of like her mommy!

We had a Happy Easter and were so glad to spend the weekend with our sweet families.

 
 
 
 

Easter Morning

On Easter morning we woke up early and went to the early service at church. We attempted to take a couple of family pics before church but they didn't turn out so great! After we got back from church we discovered the Easter Bunny had come! (He knew we would be running late that morning so waited until a little later to come!). Caleb and Caroline were so confused and kept asking where he was! They couldn't understand why he would just leave them a basket full of treats and not stay to play with them!

 
 
 
 

Race for the Cure

On Saturday I ran the Race for the Cure with a couple of friends, Katie and April. The entire way over there we were laughing at how bad we were going to do b/c we really hadn't trained like we had planned.  There were so many people there that it took us 15 minutes to even get to the start line once the race started. We ended up doing okay and we had a great time! Thanks girls for motivating me to run this with you!

Easter Egg Hunt

This weekend we headed over to Nana and Pawpaw's for a Easter egg hunt and lunch with the Easter bunny! This is our third year to go so it's become a tradition! Caleb and Caroline loved the Easter bunny! They couldn't wait to give him a hug. We ate lunch, played some fun games, the kids got their hands painted and then we went outside for the hunt. Right when the hunt started Caroline's basket broke. I would try and help her pick up an egg but she was so mad she kept throwing them down! Luckily, our hero, Daddy, was able to fix it before the race was over and she still got a lot of eggs! After the hunt we went back to Nana and Pawpaw's so the kids could take a nap and the mama's could go get pedicures! It was a fun day and we can't wait until next year!
