Colorado

This past weekend we went to Colorado with our friends, Tara and Pat. We flew into Denver on Thursday. Thursday evening we had dinner at Gumbo's--yummy! On Friday we got up and headed out to Rocky Mountain National Park. It was a beautiful day--sunny but a little chilly--and we had a great time seeing the mountains, eating lunch, and searching for wildlife! We finally saw some elk right before we left the park! Saturday we went to the A&M/Colorado game in Boulder. We had a little trouble getting there b/c someone (not going to mention any names here) locked the keys in the trunk of our car when we stopped to get snacks on our way to tailgate! But, once we finally got there we had a great time, except in the end when A&M lost. Saturday night we decided to restaurant hop and had appetizers at Paramount Cafe and then went to Earl's for dinner. We were going to go somewhere else for dessert but we were stuffed! Sunday we headed back to the airport to go home.

We had a great weekend and are so thankful to nana and pawpaw for taking such good care of Caleb and Caroline while we were away for a few days!

Here are a few pictures from the weekend. Friday is pretty much the only day we took pictures!

Happy Halloween!

We had a great Halloween! Saturday afternoon we went to Amy and Jonathan's for their annual Halloween party. They have such a fun neighborhood for trick-or-treating. Amy fixed a delicious dinner and fun treats! After dinner we all headed out to trick-or-treat while Mr. and Mrs. Clown, aka Nana and Pawpaw, stayed to hand out candy. This year my parents dressed up, which was so funny and the kids thought it was great! Caroline and I didn't last too long trick-or-treating but we had a great time handing out candy.

Thanks to Amy, Jonathan, Emma, and Maddie for having us over again this year! It was so fun!

Here are some pictures of my little ladybug and Buzz Lightyear, Emma (a black cat), Maddie (a princess fairy), and crazy Nana and Pawpaw! :)

Bunny Hop

This morning at dance Caroline's class performed a bunny dance for the moms! We got to go in towards the end of class and when we did we saw each of the girls had painted noses and whiskers and had bunny ears and tails. It was so precious and so fun to watch! Here are a few pictures of my little bunny.

Pumpkin Patch

Today after naps Caleb, Caroline and I headed to the pumpkin patch. They had a blast running around and they took the job of picking out the perfect pumpkin very seriously. We ended up with 4 mini pumpkins and one big pumpkin. When we got home they had fun decorating the mini pumpkins with markers. We all had a fun afternoon!

Happy Birthday Pawpaw!

On Friday my dad celebrated his 70th birthday. Sunday morning we left Salado and went to Nana and Pawpaw's to spend some time with them. We met Amy, Jonathan, Emma, and Maddie at Joe T's for dinner and birthday cake. We had a great time and were so glad to get to celebrate with my dad. Pawpaw--we love you and hope you had a great birthday! You're the best dad and pawpaw ever!

Happy Birthday Tommy!

After the parade we left Waco and went to Salado to meet all of our family to celebrate our brother-in-law's 40th birthday! They have a huge yard and the weather was so nice so the kids had a ball running around and playing outside and Brett had fun playing football with the boys!

Baylor Homecoming Parade

Saturday morning we woke up and left our house super early to head down to Waco for the Baylor Homecoming parade. We always have such a fun time and enjoy seeing our friends and the parade. Caleb and Caroline were a little tired when we got there but once the parade started they had a great time seeing the bands, the bear, the floats, and of course, catching all the candy!
