Hawaii

We just got back a few days ago from a trip to Maui. Nana and Pawpaw met us there and we had such a great time! We spent lots of time at the pool and the beach. The kids loved playing in the water and sand and couldn't get enough of it each day! Most days after breakfast we would hit the pool and then the beach, take naps b/c we were so worn out, and then head out to a delicious dinner. It was wonderful and we can't wait to go back!

Spring Soccer

Caleb and Caroline are playing soccer this Spring. They have both loved it and have more of an idea as to what they're doing this season! But, we have had some cold soccer practices and games! We have only taken our camera to one game (we're usually running out the door!) but here are a few pictures from that game. As you can tell, it was a super cold game! Of course, it didn't seem to bother the kids too much--just the parents!

Easter

Easter was a little different for us this year. We are used to seeing our family around Easter weekend but it was just us four this year! The weekend before Easter our neighborhood had an Easter egg hunt. The weekend of Easter we went to church and then went out for brunch at a restaurant close to our house. After everyone had naps we all watched Tangled together since Caroline had gotten it for Easter. We all had a nice, relaxing day and enjoyed spending it together.

Buffalo and Hiking

Near our house there is a field where you can drive by and see some buffalo. The kids always think it's so fun to drive by. You can also stop at a park by the buffalo and where there is some good hiking, picnic tables, etc. We stopped the other day and took a few pictures. It was a cold day so we didn't any hiking but we plan on going back soon so spend an afternoon.

Garden of the Gods

A few weeks ago we were so excited to have our good friends, Pat and Tara, and their kids come visit us! We had such a great time catching up with them. We went to Garden of the Gods, went to a neighborhood Easter egg hunt, cooked out, and just enjoyed seeing our friends! We hope they come back soon!

Sprinkles is Back!

This week Caleb was so excited when he got to bring Sprinkles home for a couple of days. He has kept him busy playing at home, watching a movie, going to the library and story time and getting hair cuts! He also made a little bed for Sprinkles to sleep in right next to his. He's sad to take him back to school today but he had fun with him while he was here!
