Last weekend was Brett's birthday and we took a little weekend trip to celebrate! On Friday we drove to Nana T's house. That night we went to dinner with everyone and then went back to Gigi and Pops house for cake and ice cream. They had forgotten to get candles so they found some around the house to use so he would have some to blow out! The next day Brett and I went to San Antonio for a couple of nights while Nana T watched the kids. We had a great time sleeping in, eating out, shopping, and going to a movie. On Monday we headed back to Nana T's to pick up Caleb and Caroline and then came back home. It was a fun weekend and we are so thankful so have such wonderful family who love our kids so much!
Here are some pictures of Brett's yummy cake, singing Happy Birthday and blowing out the candles. Caleb and Caroline are very into birthdays right now so they thought it was so fun that daddy was having a birthday!
